European Movement

Through membership of the European Movement the Authority partakes and is involved in ongoing discussions, debate and consultation on issues concerning our membership of the E.U. The European Movement assists in organising and holding fora, training, and information meetings concerning topical issues at E.U. level. The authority has assisted and taken part in fora and meetings (including public meetings) providing factual information on a range of issues, examples include:

• Submissions to the European Convention and the Future of Europe debate.
• Constitutional Treaty.
